Beautiful area. gradual incline on the way into the canyon, but not too strenuous. take your time and look around. the plant variety alters as you approach and enter the narrow canyon. the landscape is incredible. a day following significant rainfall there is a waterfall at the end.
The trail is clearly marked the whole way. It's an uphill climb into the narrow canyon where there is a little waterfall. Stunning views and sunny skies made this hike unbelievably enjoyable! I would definitely go early as it does warm up …
Came across this hike on Google Maps and really loved it. The trails on Google Maps aren't entirely accurate but AllTrails is. I recommended taking your first right when the path splits and then navigating towards the trail to the falls. …
Beautiful canyon. One of my favorite places to go hiking. After the summer rains you can even see a waterfall. I have been hiking there in several occasions, it is always different depending on the time of the year. It is nice in the winter when the snow caps the peaks.
Fantastic and beautiful hike at Organ Mountains National Monument. Well marked trail, climbs gradually from the parking lot leading to a box canyon with a pretty little waterfall. Wonderful 3.2 mile trail. Loved our hike and highly recommend.
Easy to get to and less traveled than Dripping Springs
Very nice beginner trail! Could use more detailed information about which trail includes scenery wise however they both end at the same place. Waterfall was a very small trickle with a swarm of wasps below as of 5 May 18. Bring water, sunscreen and hats.
A nice alternative or addition to the Dripping Springs trail. No fee to park here. Beautiful scenery and a nice loop trail up to the rocks that form the Organ Mountains. Taking some of the side paths gives you some elevation variation unlike some of the other trails in the area that are strictly up the slope then down the slope.
Parking for RVs specially marked which was awesome. Gravel slight uphill hike in, 1 hour round trip to get to the waterfall. Beautiful views of the mountain. We had a baby in a carrier and dog on leash. Would do this hike again.
Great place for an easy hike or run. Lots of deer were out and very little people.
